3rd Annual Rockers Against Cancer Benefit Show, took place on Saturday, October 18 at Malone’s in Santa Ana, California. Promoter Rob Sheriff from Hollywood Sheriff Productions dedicates the Rockers Against Cancer Show to his brother, Larry Sherrif and this is a very special show to Rob. His brother was diagnosed in October 2011 with multiple myeloma cancer, a blood and bone cancer that starts hacking at the bones and his brother passed away almost to the day, on January 9, 2012.

The show was sponsored by the Cancer Research Institute and the night was all about raising awareness and money to help fight cancer. There were door prizes including special give-aways, Tee-shirts and a raffle for an acoustic guitar from Yamaha Guitars. It was a great evening of rock starting with Voodoo Sex Cult followed by Made N America,
Le Reverie, Prey On The Fallen, Dirty Eyes, Guitarist Ronny North, White Lie, Highway Ryders and finally the show headliners The Sweet took the stage. The Sweet kept everyone on their feet and played all of their greatest hits including ‘Love is Like Oxygen’ and “Fox on the Run and closed their show with the classic Ballroom Blitz with everyone singing along to each song. Each Band rocked the house and were honored to be part of this special event. The evening was a great success. Many thanks to Rob Sherriff for his annual Rockers Against Cancer Benefit shows and his dedication to help to raise cancer awareness.
