Little King, the vibrant progressive rock trio originally from El Paso, TX, and now residing in Tucson, delivered a mesmerizing and unforgettable performance at the Yucca Tap Room in beautiful Tempe, AZ, on July 14, 2026.

Little King: A Musical Journey

Currently on tour through July to promote their extensive collection of eight albums, they also showcased their latest single, “Opus Perficit,” which was released on July 7, 2026, to rave reviews from both industry professionals and fans. “Opus Perficit” features a captivating 5/4 pulse that, much like Rush, ensures listeners feel deeply engaged, as the song's heartfelt passion ebbs and flows with elegance and beauty. 

Founded in 1996 by vocalist and guitarist Ryan Rosoff, whose name translates to "Little King" in Gaelic, the band kicked off their performance with “The Leaded Beatdown,” an instrumental piece that beautifully set the tone while showcasing their exceptional musicianship.

Bassist Dave Hamilton, who usually plays the cello, took on the bass for this tour, working alongside drummer Tony Bororquez to establish a strong rhythmic foundation.

The band's influences, which include Rush, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, and Muse, highlight why their sound defies classification into a single genre.

This performance was more than just a concert; it was an opportunity to witness three dedicated musicians creating music together. The band delivered an engaging show to the Tempe audience that will be remembered for a long time.
